The Origin
ALEANDRA CASSIA grew out of the wish to give form to what is essential.
Art, jewellery and literature meet here in a shared attitude: attentive to people, to material and to what comes into being between them.
Every work begins with a question of measure and meaning. Its form should claim nothing that its content cannot carry.
This is how a Maison takes shape whose works grow out of an attitude.
Material & Craft
Material is not treated as a surface, but as part of the work.
Paper, stone, linen and freshwater pearls each bring their own qualities. Their texture, their weight and the way they behave give the design its direction.
The hand tests proportions, alters and takes back. This process needs time: until material and form find a language that does without anything superfluous.
Craft makes these decisions visible.

Patrizia Anna Tarara is responsible for the artistic direction of the Maison.
She designs and makes the artworks and the jewellery. The books and journals come from her own writing.
Her attention belongs to the nuances of human experience. What she perceives, she translates into material, form and language; each medium is given the space it needs.
One signature connects the different works of the Maison.
